The Role – Primary Teacher – SEN Teacher
This school are hoping to appoint an Experienced Primary Teacher to teach a Year 1 class. You will teach a class of maximum 8 children, with MLD. You will have the support from two TAs, one has been working in the school for 15 years, so they will provide you with the support you need until you find your feet. The children are well behaved, so you will not have to have restraint training. The children in this school, enjoy taking part in sports, so you will have to be someone who will enjoy getting involved in sports. As an experienced teacher you would have experience preparing, planning and delivering lessons according to each child’s ability and interest. A primary teacher who can do phonics will be an advantage. If you are a mainstream primary teacher, they will provide you with all SEN experience for you to provide the children with the up most support.
This role will suit someone who has recently started teaching and is looking for a school with CPD.
This is a well-represented SEN school located in Kensington. They offer education to children with ASD ages 5 – 11 years old. This school have just been refurbished, they have a state of the art resource unit, providing all members of staff with materials to give each child the best education. All classes have a maximum of 8 children in, they are mixed age groups as the classes are determined by key stage. This school is easy accessible via all transport links.
